Help Cell Standby excessive power drain on LG Volt

My Volt has been running fine, but I did not use it for a month. Now Cell Standby just drains the battery like crazy. I can SEE percentage drop one after another when I use the phone. No trashy app installed.

Battery was 89% when I went to bed at 1am, woke up at 7am, battery was 14% percentage, used a bit and dropped to 12%. I've never seen a phone doing that. Please help.

Looks to be caused by not having a signal. The device is constantly looking for a mobile signal thus drains battery. If you just dont use mobile service and rely on wifi only. Toggle off mobile data. That should resolve battery problens.
