If a cell phone really put off as much radiation as you apparently fear, DroidRick, why even bother getting one?
...
You're going to be similar levels of exposure just by being outside within range of a cell tower. Not to mention the radio waves in the air for your favorite radio station to listen to in the car.
I know we didn't have computers back in the 50's and 60's in the same form as today, but suppose we did....The way you make it sound... are you like... some albino immune deficient bubble boy? I think a lead bunker in the heart of the Mariana trench or something might be best for you or something. The sun gives off radiation, your screen on the phone gives off radiation, hell, almost anything electronic irradiates you in some minute insignificant way. Best to stay away from all of it in your case.
It doesn't put me off using a cell phone but I believe there may be something in it. There are just too many people about who have suffered brain cancers claimed to have been caused by cell phones for it to be just coincidence.
There is a difference between the above and placing a microwave transmitter/receiver directly next to your head.
Even the cellphone manufacturers know that!
That is why they all include warnings in their manuals about how you should hold your cellphones when using and carrying them.
I know we didn't have computers back in the 50's and 60's in the same form as today, but suppose we did.
And suppose a sensitive individual appeared on a forum similar to this one and posted a similar poll, not about cellphones though, but about cigarette smoke.
Do you think it would have been likely the individual would have been ridiculed about it? Be honest with your answer.
... And to answer the question; No I do not feel any sort of sensation, if you actually do I think there may be an issue with your phone...
Unlikely.
As far as I know, no one has ever thought cigarette smoke was actually healthy for you.
I make it a point not to listen to anyone who makes ANY medical claims, without a medical degree.
Cancer Cells?: Brain Tumor Numbers Steady Despite Increased Mobile Phone Use: Scientific American
You would think that the number would rise with the rise of the use of cell phones. It hasn't. Therefore, cell phones aren't causing brain cancer.
Are you sure you are being honest?
You don't think people would have been ridiculed in the 50's and 60's for cautioning against cigarette smoking?
And as far as I know, no one has ever thought cellphone use was actually healthy for you either. I'm not sure what point you are trying to make with this?

The article from GQ... (hint:try scientific articles in the future, not opinion pieces) quoted Microwave news, which is anti-cellphone. The editor of Microwave News decided a LONG time ago that cell phones caused Brain Cancer.
Well you should watch it before commenting on it.I didn't watch it, because I don't have sound on my machine at the moment (no speakers or headphones). However, from the description, it is again dealing with Davis's book. From what I've read, she hasn't done any actual research on the subject.
See above. You would think that a "scientists" would do some actual studies on a topic before they published a book on it. I guess that gets in the way of book profits though.
If you read everything that I have written so far you will see that I have made NO CLAIMS whatsoever.Honestly, I would like you to present evidence to support your claim. Evidence to support your claim may not include opinion pieces, book plugs, or any combination of the two.
