I stumbled across this app called "Status" . You can also remove the carrier name as well.
Since no root I've found apps to accommodate me.. This phone is actually fast and does the job.
This phone also made me research more lol.
I also use Adguard premium, Nova launcher, Apollo music player, Status, and Audio pocket (for YouTube audio background play) .
My zmp feels like my rooted phones
