Help centura ok but...

I actually like the phone but hate the extsd issue. The phone will not recognize an external memory card. I bought a 32 memory card. I even use programs to move pics and songs. The next day they are gone. I have no clue how to transfer data to computer. It says I need to download a program. I want to buy another phone but stay on net10. I don't want to run into another issue of not being able to move stuff to sd card. Suggestions?
 
Have you tried a different SD card? You can just hook it up to your computer with the usb cable and it should show your internal memory as USB memory and your external card as SD card. You can just copy and paste or drag and drop files from there. Personally I use MediaMonkey to transfer music but Windows Media Player or any other player should recognize it.You may also want to try re-formatting your SD card. Go to system settings, storage and all the way at the bottom you will see the option to format it. For backups I recommend Moborobo.

I've had no problems at all with mine and I have many pictures and over 800 songs on it so either you have a defective card, it needs to be re-formatted, or your phone is defective.
 
I doubt these phones support a 32 GB SD card. Never crossed your mind to try another card before the rant? There is no "extsd issue" that I have heard of. Pretty sure it'd be all over this exact forum :)
 
Thanks guys. Idk know much about android so thanks for pointing that out freakshow 85 what brand is compatible? I don't want to get rid of the phone I do really like it.
 
I honestly don't know what is and isn't compatible. I dunno if Samsung has a QVL for SD cards or not. Maybe the poster who said his 32GB sd card works can chime in and post his brand. You should also try another card just in case to check that your sd slot is functioning.
 
Yes definitely try a different brand. I know a co-worker who has a 32GB and it works fine, I'll find out the brand next time I see him. If a different brand doesn't work, I hope you are still in the return window or you bought some type of protection plan. If not Walmart.com is still selling the Centura for $29!

P.S. I just checked and now they are out of stock. I bet there are thousands of people who now have the Centura. I work at Walmart and we had 250 of them and they sold out in less than an hour. I bought me and my wife's when they were the regular $99 price lol.
