Help centura won't animate animated gifs

Asking this for a friend. She has a Samsung Centura and when someone texts her an animated gif, she receives the gif but it won't animate. Does it not support animated gifs? Is there an app she can get to help with this? Thank you...

It depends on what app she's using to view the gif. Some support them, some just show the first frame. Tell her to open MyFiles, find the gif and open it in a web browser. (Or email it to an account she can get to from her computer/laptop and open it in a browser.)

Thank you! I will have her check it out. I think she was told the Centura does not support gifs. Or at least not animated gifs. If that's true, could she get a gif player app? I have a Samsung gs3 and so I am more used to that phone and the way it works.
