Help Certain sites slow browser

[Android Question]

Why do some websites , especially ones with tons of ads and bloated garbage slow my browser down and make my phone lock up?

How can I stop this?

I am using a Motorola moto E w/ 4g lte.

You've answered your own question: the sites are bloated with ads and other garbage.

And ad blocker may help: the best ones require root, but there are some you can use without. A different browser may help too.
