change apn setting from optus to codafone network

hi there I want to change my apn setting on mmy LG phone its an optus phone I want too change the network too Vodafone please help ive tried so many ways but my phone isn't picking up the network carrier.

First you probably have to unlock the phone to put in a new SIM card. (If you're using an Optus SIM card, you probably can't connect to Vodaphone's servers.)
