Help Change app section to list view?

As title says, i'm struggling to find this option, i hate the grid layout, any ideas? oh and not being able to change the teal colour sucks.

I hope you find your answer, but you may have to switch your launcher in order to get the list view. Switching your launcher has one drawback that I've discovered. If you like to use the action memo a lot and tack them on your homescreen, you can only do that with TouchWiz.

What do you mean by teal color?

Hi, When i go to notifications bar or messages i get a teal (greeny/bluey) colour, as far as i can see and from what i have read this is not changable without rooting, shame that Android has stripped some of these customizations, these are basic things.
