Change Avatar

Hi, been trying to change Avatar but keep getting "not suitable". What makes a suitable picture for an Avatar? Was looking for a bunny. Moto G 2014. Tks.
 
I have always used animal avatars! Never been an issue! How are you trying to change it? Desktop or app?

Sorry been offline. Here at AF. I tried importing from a photo (since deleted) but wasn't really sure what I was doing. Want a picture and to use first name only.

Sorry been offline. App? Sounds smart. I was trying to copy from a photo. Dumb prob.
 
He, no big deal. I put together screenshots when you first asked. Let me post them up.
1) Hover over your name and choose "Personal Details"

2) On the details page click on your current avatar.

3) In the pop up dialog, click "Choose File"

4) Select an image from your computer.

5) At the bottom, choose Open (I don't know why it doesn't say upload:confused:)

6) It will upload the photo, click and drag the photo around in the smaller box to center it where you would like

7) Click the OK button to save the changes to your avatar

8) Choose save changes at the bottom of the personal details page..

Thank u do much. I want to load a picture from my phone and will give that a go, following
 
Yeah, maybe I'll do up some instructions for mobile when i get home. Let me know if you have any problems. Oh, and for the second part of your question, using only your first name, message @Phases for username changes.

To figure out what is available for usernames, type the @ sign followed by what you want. If it doesn't pop up in the drop down, then no one is using it.

I'm also going to move this to the suggestion box where we typically discuss forum issues.:)

Hi did anything develop with this? Or will I have to dust off my laptop (overdue)?
