Change insufficient storage threshold limit

I edited an Sq file to disable the low space notification successfully so I expect the same can be done to lower the MB threshold that cancels out any install with the alert "insufficient storage available"

I only want to install 300KB of app, got 15MB free, but it won't let me, even though 15MB > 300KB. I don't want to delete anything and got all the cache and updates I can clear cleared, no dice. Is there another file I can edit or add a new record to that changes the default 15MB limit to say 10?

From SUroot's investigations it's possible to change the level at which you get the message, but it doesn't change the point at which app installs are affected - see this post and the discussion around it.

Yes I did that exact edit to stop the low disk space icon and keep my device sync active. But my new issue revolves around the threshold where Play Store claims the storage is insufficient despite there being far more free space than the app requires. I was hoping a very similar edit could lower that threshold as well
