Help Change it back?

Hi,

I'm a newbie and am absolutely useless with technology so please go easy on me and explain as simply as possible!

I bought my Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 just before Christmas. I was really happy with it, except that it kept freezing, cutting out during calls and sometimes not letting me answer them at all. So the nice people at Orange agreed to replace my phone since it was still under warranty. The new one has been delivered today and this is where my problems start.

These will probably sound like silly problems to most people but please understand that for reasons I don't want to disclose I find it very stressful when things change and look different.

So:

* The icons on the bottom tray of the home screen look totally different. Before they were the same icons as in the menu screen, but now they look more cartoonish and are only in white and orange. I'd like the old ones back please.

* When scrolling between the different versions of the home screen it used to be little dots to tell you which one you were on - now it's orange lines. I'd like the old version back.

* When entering the menu screen I used to be able to scroll sideways from page to page. Now it's just one long list that I scroll down or up through. Again, old version back I would like!

Apparently my Android version is 2.3.4 and my build number is GINGERBREAD.BVKQA if that means anything at all? I don't know what they were on my old handset as that's been taken away.

Please can anybody help me? I know they sound like so trivial little things but it will really make me uncomfortable unless I can get it back to the way I liked it and was used to it.

Thank you so much in advance

Amy

I've fixed it!

In case anyone else ever has the same problem - go to "Selector" and chose the other option!

Feel very stupid now that it was so easy to fix but there you go!

I also don't know what "Selector" is. It's not on my phone! Because of what Amy said, I think that Orange (her provider) has changed something in the settings, like some providers do sometimes. Since some things on her phone were changed into something orange, that might be the case. Maybe the "selector" is also something they added.
