Change LG G Pad Ownership

Bought my wife her first smartphone. Carrier is AT&T. They gave us an LG G Pad as a bonus when signing her up to my account. She has decided that she doesn't want to learn the G Pad so I decided to make it mine even though I have a Windows tablet.

If I go to settings/Users I see that she's listed as the owner. I want to change her information to mine. How do I do that?

How do I convince you that I didn't steal or find the G Pad?

Welcome to AndoridForums.com pmillen. I moved your question to the G-Pad forum. I'll make an assumption about why you didn't steal the G-Pad.;) No-one would steal a G Pad, that's why AT&T is giving them away.:p:D Just kidding. If it is reported stolen they would have blacklisted the tablet and probably done a remote wipe. You have it powered on.;)

Anyway, the easiest thing is probably to just do a factory data reset, which will return the tab to its out of the box state. When it restarts it will ask for your Google login credentials and then list you as the owner.
