Just get rid of the lock screen in general.

Download "Barcode Scanner" and scan that barcode with your EVO.
I have that just trying to figure out how to scan it. I open the program but how do you do it? It uses the camera to capture and I'm looking at this on my phone. Can you import the file to barcode scanner? I guess I could save the image then import it. Is that an option?

Ha no worries. Though I am actually wanting the lock, cause I need a pass code. I am guessing there is no way to just change the lock screen wall paper?

I've seen different skins on the lock slide. Maybe root? I know you can put the left ---> right slide lock from the moto droid. Not sure how to do that, I get annoyed by the lock screen in general.

get widget locker , it works great , altho after a while i find myself urning it off and runing the stock lock screen , nothing wrong with wlocker i just like a change every couple weeks or so ... thats why i use ANDROID - you can do what ever the f*** you want to your phone , instead of one boring look...............
