Help Change lockscreen icons

Im being a bit fussy now, but thought why not ask. Ive got my homescreen how i want it now, but the icons havent changed when im on the lockscreen. How would i go about doing this..

I want the handcent icon and globe icon from homescreen

Copy and paste from like 5 threads down.


Settings, security and lock screen, lock screen options, shortcuts and edit them from there
 
Im not sure you understand. Its the actual icons of the existing apps i want to change, not the apps themselves.

Also, should have mentioned im using nova launcher
 
Tried it but dont like it. I like the stock ripple effect.
I wonder if you can go deep into the settings to change the icons? Surely theres a png file or something?
 
Have you figured out how to do this? I have the exact same issue, got my homescreen issues changed, using Nova, but can't figure out how to change the lock screen icons and i also didn't like WidgetLocker
 
You can't unless you can change the app icon itself. It's possible on the home screen dock though

It can be done on home screen and docks in nova launcher just by long pressing the icon and selecting edit, and then selecting the desired icon from an icon pack or installed icons etc.

However, in touchwiz I doubt you can do that much.

In all probability you would have to change the icon at code/dev level for it to take effect on the lock screen, which, even with nova, doesn't take effect because the lock screen calls for the native icon.

Oh i've already done it on my homescreens and docks, that's not an issue.

Are you saying there is no way to change the icon on the lock screen?

But why does it matter? Is a case of:

Screen on, tap icon, swipe, enter code, app

Or

Screen on, code, tap icon on home screen, app (without shortcut icons on lock screen)

So I'm falling to see the importance tbh.

Personal preference. You could very well say the same thing about people customising any area of their phone, including wallpapers.
 
Any luck with this?
I have my entire phone monochrome and electric blue, then the lock screen has big bright buttons, each colored with the most garish shade of whichever hue they'd not yet used.
At the moment, I just have these icons disabled, but I would love to be able to use this simple convenience function without it destroying my theme. T_T
