I am trying to play xbox live from my dx 3g. I can play all i want by myself but when i invite friends it says that my network settings are not compatible. Is there a way to change my nat so i can do this?

Im using free wifi hotspot. but i also tried it with the 3g hotspot hack and it still doesnt work. I think everyone is experiencing it. Most people never notice because they dont play xbox live. I was just wondering if there is a hack or way to change the nat.
Ok, did a little digging... Looks like UPnP is what XBox Live wants to work properly.

I guess I'll take a look, and see if I can help Harald hunt down a fix for this, if there is one to be found. Just from what those two links show, it might be somewhat complex and require a kernel module. It might even be that verizon has this blocked off at their routers... We'll see.

I got Nat Type 2 on MY PS3 off my Droid 3's wifi hotspot.
After applying the XDA Radio Hack to enable stock wifi hotspot app.
Connected phone to Mac laptop with USB, turn on Wifi Hotspot and USB Tethering (this opens the necessary ports on phone).
Connected PS3 to Droid's wifi signal and got Nat Type 2.
I know the PS3 can not connect to the Ad Hoc network from the phone's wifi, but with both USB tethering and hotspot active, it does connect to wifi.

im having the same issue but i use the ad hoc for the ps3 and ive notice that it only gets faster and better past midnight; im talking like aroung 1 am etc. i just somehow wish that it'll be faster and better during day time.
