Root Change owner account Rooted Nook

I bought a used Rooted nook with a honeycomb microsd. I need to remove the original owners account so I can access android market, nook for android, etc. It keeps trying to use his account whenever I do anything. I have created a new account for me. I tried removing his account, but the device says it is required for some apps and can only be removed by a full reset. I tried the reset, but when I press Erase everything it doesn't do anything. I am fine doing whatever I need to do, but really need clear pointers. Thank you for any help!

Sounds like you need to go completely back to stock, i.e. reset to factory settings. The nookdevs site has the best walkthrough for doing it. I'm on nook and phandroid app so can't link to it

Thanks! That's what I did - Returned to stock. After that I needed to contact B&N and the previous owner to change the registration. A pain, but it was worth it. Then I made sure it had the latest firmware from B&N and rooted it, etc. Now I am addicted to Angry Birds.

Glad you got it working! I'm hooked on angry birds Rio right now, lol
