Root Change PRL

I feel like I have seen this topic somewhere on this forum, but perhaps it was in my imagination. I have root, custom rom and know my MSL--is there an easy way to change the PRL? I feel like this might be helpful in trying to resolve some data connectivity issues.

You can do it but I think the consensus is that it doesn't make speeds any faster.

Some people have seen great improvements with a new PRL, others haven't seen any change at all, still others found it only got worse. I think it depends entirely on your location. I spent a week trying out about three dozen different PRLs and found two that were marginally better than 61009, which I think is still the standard for VM.

I'm in the Eastern-most part of Los Angeles County and I ended up sticking with 60680; which I felt noticeably, though not significantly, improved my 3g speeds and consistency.

Both of the OEs I've had came with 61007. I live in the Midwest and will report back with findings, if any relevant findings are to be found.

22081 seems to provide increased speed. The 3G is not consistent, but the 2G is faster than its previous unusable state.
