Help Change/Remove Contact Icon

just got my droid 3 and i'm setting pictures to my contacts through the camera gallery.

I set one picture to a contact and I'm trying to change it to a different one. but when I long press the picture, there is no option to change/remove it. I have tried the edit contact option but I don't see anything.

I even tried setting a completely new picture to the contact but when I do this, the old picture still remains.

Any help?

I have the standard contact app that came with my Droid 3 and when I edit the contat and long press the contact icon it gives me the options to "use this photo', "Remove Icon", or "Change Icon". You can also change the contact icon in Gmail.

I have the standard contact app too (the blue icon). when I long press the contact to edit it, the only option it gives me is to "use this photo". It doesn't say I can remove or change the icon.

For me, using the stock Contact app, this works:
- Select Contact app (blue icon)
- Long press the person's name
- Select Edit contact
- Short press the person's picture
- Select Change icon
- Find picture you want and use it

i figured it out. turns out my contacts were set up through my youtube account somehow. i dont know how that happened, but i switched all my contacts over to my google account and now i can change/remove the icon.
