Change SD card in S7

I would like to move from a 64GB card to a 128GB card, but am a bit apprehensive about how to make sure everything I have moves over. Can anyone advise a way to safely do this?

Take the card out of the phone, place in pc, make sure show hidden files in Windows Explorer is ticked, then select all files and folders, copy to pc, remove old card, put in new card and copy files and folders to it. Put new card in phone. Simples [emoji4]

Can't one just connect the phone via USB to transfer the files?
Remove 64Gb from phone
Insert 128Gb into phone
Put 64Gb in PC
Plug phone into PC (make sure phone is set to transfer files)
Transfer files

There is one saving grace in that should you forget to move apps back to the device, you can re-install them. Not many apps can be moved on the S7.
