Help change the default 4 ????

is it possible to change any of the default 4
phone,contacts,messaging,applications
to change them to another application.
part of me wanting to is that i have loaded chompsms to be able to use my own text/ringtone sounds and so that i can set it to repeat.
but i keep getting the number of texts come up on the message widget and have to go into it to get rid of it(which is so annoying)

any help would be great,thanks

yes. go to apps.press menu.press edit.keep your finger on the one you want to move.you cant move the app/home icon.
