Apps change the signal output power

Is it possible to change the bluetooth signal power to higher or lower amounts?

I don't believe it's possible to do this. There is nothing in the Bluetooth adapter API to allow it.

I need to change the signal power in my programming to reach to different ranges. Can you introduce me a module or a kind of beacon that is capable to do this? for example some beacons can change their range to some defined ranges in open space
