Change to English

I have a 3w100 and I have Le UI 3.5 NEWBILITY Gelivable Latest version OS 2.5 running.
However when I have tried to change permission ( long press) for:
GooglePartnerSetup.apk GoogleServicesFramework.apk
MarketUpdater.apk NetworkLocation.apk
Talk.apk

Vending.apk
as described in king_bobs very usfull tuition, I get Chinese only, which I dont understand therfore I cannot instal the market etc.
Any suggestions ?

Sorry I don't understood you. This version of LeUI have got google application in standard instalation. You don't need install it more. Yes, this google aps isn't install in /system/app but on /data/app/ and other places. Change to english you can done by standard way through setting icon. Check forum how to change language to english.

atko is correct you shouldnt need to set the permissions on that version.

also root explorer shouldnt display chineese... is it possible that you are refering to the standard application?

Thanks for the advice guys.
I am not sure what/how I did when I installed Le UI 3.5. However, I think my best course of action is undo it all and start again.
