Help Changed digitizer and now one half screen is black

Title pretty much sums it up, anyway I purchased a new digitiser from amazon fitted it no problem turned it on and down the left hand side the screen about 2cm width is a black line can see the lcd is fine by little lines init.

I though i damaged the ribbon on the digitiser so bought a new one and its the same what could be the problem thanks?
