changing bios

Hi All I need help, I have an (C)allwinner 10" Tablet running "kit kat" but despite searching google and reading many many items I cannot find the way to access the BIOS. on my PC it's just a case of pressing delete at switch-on. I've tried holding the up-vol switch down when switching on but nothing works. I'm hoping someone with more experience can come up with some suggestions. I'm planning on installing windows 10 but despite having the correct ISO on a stick I can't get it to run! it only shows that the stick is 'Mounted'
regards

Welcome to Android Forums!

While PCs have a BIOS, Android has a bootloader that tells the tablet what to do when it's first turned on. It resides in the /Boot partition, which can only be accessed if you have root access. That said: most tablets are engineered and wired for Android... I would be very surprised if you could find any way to replace the stock Android bootloader with a Win 10 BIOS, especially on an inexpensive off-brand tablet. I think you're headed for a headache or two. Or three. There are many tablets out there, off-brand as well, that offer dual boot out of the box. I would advise you to pick one of those up and save yourself a lot of frustration - and possibly a bricked tablet. I hope this helps.

It's great to have you here :)

That's an ARM processor.
You're not going to be installing a PC BIOS on that, nor Windows 10, end of.
There are tablets that do come with Windows 10 now, but those have Intel Atom x86 processors.
