Root changing color of a png

how exactly would i have to go about about changing the color scheme from existing png files? would i have change the color of each individual png file? IM trying to get the battery icons that come with Kagebeast's ICS theme for OA and put the in the stock rom. I just want to get them as close as possible to GB green lol

damn lol i was hoping i wouldnt have to use a picture editor xD oh well im gonna be busy for a bit changing the colors of like 200 png's

lol you can always pull some png's from the stock framework-res.apk in the res/drawable-hdpi folder.
