Help Changing contact notification sounds?

[Jose15247]

I just got a Galaxy S3, and I absolutely love it. I'm just having trouble figuring out one thing. Is there a way to change the notification (text message) sounds for particular contacts? I've only been able to change the ringtone, but can't quite figure out how to do it for notifications.

Thanks in advanced!

I just got my SIII today & have been trying to find out the same thing. I'm guessing from the lack of replies to this thread, and the absence of any results on google, there isn't a way to do this.

I just answered this the other day. A search would probably find it, but this forum is so busy, it would be almost impossible by browsing. Anyway:
