Help changing default

hi guys

when im downloading a file with "Download All Files" (text file for example) and opening it afterwards it used to ask me with what app should it complete the action with. i recently set the default to Download All Files although i need to read it with Adobe Reader.

i cant seem to find the option to reverse it that, so it will ask me every time with what app to open the file..

any1?

when you go into settings and then manage apps. after you choose the app you chose to be the default app there will be a box for clear all defaults under the clear cache button. after this you should have the check box come up again. hope this helps

Just to clarify that...

Settings >applications> manage applications> Adobe reader> [clear defaults]

what do you do when the program you want to use to open a specific file is not in the list of options?? Eg, I want to use Seaman player for my flash video but its not there so the only way to open those files is to first open seaman video player then browse to the folder.
