changing facebook profile picture?

I HAVE FOUND THE SOLUTION!

I have been trying to change my dads profile photo on his HTC for weeks... And have finally managed to!

- upload your own photo (you cannot set a photo someone else has tagged you in as your profile photo)
- once that photo has uploaded, click on and open it up
- once open, press your android menu button (bottom right hand corner of your phone) so that it double clicks
- this will bring up a small menu along the bottom of your screen with options such as 'set as' and 'share' and 'settings' etc. You need to select the 'more' option and there pops up further options . Here you can choose 'make profile picture'

maybe cannot change to a new pic, but you can switch your profile pic if it's already inside your profile picture folder of ur FB

Well guys, did anyone try 'long press'on your profile picture or cover pic?
I did.
Long press on cover pic > release
You get two options
1- change pic
2- delete pic
Select "change pic"
The screen will show you the thumbnails of ALL the pics in your gallery.
Select the one you want as your new cover pic.
The app lets you drag it up and down to adjust but not left and right.
Drag it to your satisfactory position (no pun intended )
Click SAVE at the top.
You are done.

Ditto for profile pic.
The only difference is that the first option says "edit pic" instead of "change pic".
