Help Changing from S2 to S3 help!

Hi. I got a galaxy s3 at the moment. Got my apps, photos, music, contacts and everything on here. Even stuff like my calender is all synced with google.

I will be getting a new S3 this week. But I will be trading in my S2 as part of the deal so all data will need to be cleared.

Question is how do I get all my stuff from the S2 to the S3?

Basically a way in which the iphone does it would be ideal.

Kies is not ideal but will do the job for free. Backup to you google account. Put add much on your memory card as possible.

Anything with Google will be available without any problem. For the music/phots/etc. just make sure you have them on the sd card and just move it to the new phone. It will find all your medias automatically.

Log calls and SMS are another story. You might want to check the app SMS Backup And restore for SMS. There is probably an app for log calls too.

My Backup Pro is a great app for backing up most everything on your phone. I've used it on 5 phones now, works really well, no root needed either.

My thoughts then are to put my music, photos and video to my laptop.

The hopefully everything else including my contacts should be synced to google.
