Changing Icons............

Can you change 'any' icon to an icon you want or are some limited to what they are downloaded as.

eg. i want to change the google maps app icon to something which fits in with the theme i'm going with..............

i'm a total noob, but have managed to realise Launcher Pro's potential............

Pretty much yes, although I prefer to extract and edit apks myself instead of of using apps.

yeah, i've kinda figured it out now, but what i cant do is change widgets.

ie, i have individual switches from curvefish which toggle wifi, gps etc, can i change these and still use the switch?

You can if you edit the apk of the app, but as I've never used LP I can't help with that.
