I have a samsung Galaxy S3 and it is plugged into my computer and says it is charging in the battery icon but the percentage is going down. I only have 5% so this is an emergancy.

Usb from a computer only provides 0.5. Amps max. A s3 needs At least 1 amp to charge if it's being used with the screen on. It will run down if in use and being supplied by a computer usb connection. The charger that came with it should be able to charge it up while it is being used.
