Hi all - first post, so hopefully doing it right!
I've just upgraded from a Desire to a One-X, and am trying to get my notification sounds sorted out.
The ringtone was no problem, and I've dropped a whole new set of sounds into my Notifications folder for the others. The Personalisation app sees these for all the different types of notification, but the email in particular doesn't work. Instead, the phone just sticks with the setting for the Default sound.
I've tried applying it, going out of personalise and back in, re-selecting, and re-applying. Also changing the sound profile to the standard HTC one then back to mine, all with no joy. The only way to get my sound onto the email notification is to make the default the one I want for the email app.
This just doesn't seem right, or am I missing something?
I did search for this, but couldn't quite find anyone having the same issue.
Hopefully someone out there knows the answer, as it's so frustrating having gone from the Desire that didn't have such flexibility on the sounds, to something that seems to allow it, but doesn't really work!
Thanks in advance.
