Help Changing orientation

I got tired of the orientation changing when I didn't want it to, such as if I'm in bed or placing it on the kitchen counter. I turned off auto-orienatation, now I want to know if there's a way to change the orientation manually. I would have thought there would be, but I can't find such a feature even after googling it. Thoughts?

For some apps you can press the menu button to change the orientation settings.

Theres 1 app which I dont remember know that adds a shortcut on your homescreen through which you can toggle the orientation setting to work or not to work.
