Android Question

Hello,

I would like to inquire if there is a way to change keyboard for entering PIN code. Problem is that I need to enter PIN code which contains numbers (0-9), hashtag '#' and asterisk '*' and current keyboard have only numbers. Previous Android phone (SONY Xperia Z1) was able to switch between numbers and symbols keyboards.

Phone: Caterpillar S50
OS: Android 4.4.2

Thank you in advance for any valuable information.

Sounds like you should be using 'Password' instead of 'PIN' (Personal Identification Number) as your screen lock option.

Problem is that case is not for screen locking. But kind of e-sign. And once you get request to confirm your request by entering password - I get PIN keyboard but I need to enter not only numbers, but hashtag and asterisk also. And in pin keyboard their original spots are taken by "Delete" and "OK" buttons.

Well that is very uncomfortable and complicated solution. Just changing layout of keyboard should solve my issue. Just need to find a way to do it.
