Root Changing Roms

Well, after a week long forum reading i finally setup adb using win7 64bit ( Hard as hell) and finally flashed Bh_man's galxy r12. but my question is when switching to other roms.. should i switch back to 1.5 stock rom or i could directly switch to diff rom?

now that I have a Fully working Recovery working, flashing Rom's at will is going to be alot simpler from here on..

I've not posted it just yet, but will have it posted tomorrow night & the source posted on github as well

are you going to convert the galaxy rom to the zip update file? or any other roms becuase that would be really nice too? if you have time. i dont want you to take away from 2.1 and 2.0 development.....
