Changing sensitivity to allow for "sockless" inking

Inking is becoming increasingly popular with the use of tablets. The problem is major vendors aren't supporting it due to bad popular perceptions.

What if we could reduce the sensitivity of a capacitive touchscreen to the point that it would not detect the palm or finger. So that only strong stylus's would would work on the screen. With such a hack or change you would be able to ink without a sock to protect the screen from your palm.

Take it a step further and make the stylus become more powerful with pressure, that way you can implement wacom like pressure sensitivity. Tell me what you think, and if its possible with todays android tablets/hardware.
