Help Changing spelling in a contact is not updated in Contacts

I had a contact's name misspelled, so I went into their contact information and changed the spelling and saved the contact. But when I go back to the address book display, it still has their name misspelled. I checked it on Google from my desktop and the change stuck there, but it won't correct it in the Address Book display.
Any ideas?

Would clearing the data in the Contacts force the phone to redownload the information from Google or would it just drop all the contact information?
