Changing Streaming News Source on Lock Screen?

I just recently realized that I could get streaming news headlines from yahoo news on the bottom of the lock screen. I like that option, but I would like it even better if I was able to change the news source. Does anyone know of a way to do this? I would even be willing to root my phone if that would allow me this option. Thanks.
