Changing the Apps in the Bottom Dock Bar

Just got a brand new Galaxy S3 from Sprint.

I downloaded the Chrome browser and I wanted to swap out the on-board Internet browser with Chrome's app link on the "dock" bar at the bottom. The one that stays there no matter which screen you slide to. Doing the normal long-click on an app at any point does not seem to show me the dock bar.

I've tried the methods for previous Galaxy S phones and they don't seem to apply. Any ideas?

try putting the chrome link on any screen, long pressing it then dragging it to the stock browser link. they should swap places.

This should work. If it doesn't select the icon on the bottom you want to remove. Touch and hold it then drag it to the Home screen and release. It should leave a blank location on the bottom. Touch and drag your Chrome icon from the home screen to this location and release.

Primary Shortcuts
Primary Shortcuts appear at the bottom of the display. You
can edit the Primary Shortcuts, except for Apps.
Editing the Primary Shortcuts
To add or remove shortcuts:
Touch and hold a shortcut, then drag it from the
Primary Shortcuts to the Home screen, or from the
Home screen to the Primary Shortcuts.
To remove shortcuts:
Touch and hold the shortcut until Remove appears,
then drag the shortcut to the Remove icon.
