wouldnt they be in the framework-res.apk/res/color folder??
well that post was no help lol. This is the one thing i need to know how to do to finish my theme. And google isn't really helping

Just wondering what kinda theme are you working on and for what ROM?![]()
Well lets switch that. It's a ported theme lol. But i wanna change the color scheme to match the RX-0 Banshee to make it into my own. And if you don't watch anime you won't know what i'm talking about lol
there's a guide in the esteem forums
i am using sumsung galxy y bt i cant connet to open wifi network,plx help me
holy monkeys ears! the esteem has a lot of good theming guides. and you are right there is a guide on this exact thing on the esteem forums
http://androidforums.com/esteem-all-things-root/527865-guide-change-your-font-color.html
speaking of ported themes, i was thinking about trying to port over your OA ics theme to the stock 2.3.4. i really wouldnt know where to start besides the drawable mdpi folder. other than than the xml lines will give me trouble. i just feel like the the 2.3.4 isnt receiving any love from anyone. killah is working on those pretty sweet 2.3.6 themes and you are working on a little something. where is the love?!?!?! lol
Well the xmls aren't to hard to figure out. For it to be as complete as possible you'll have to edit 4 xmls in the drawable folder and just 1 in the values folder
Well this question is similar to my last thread. I'm trying to figure out how to change the color of the context menu text that appears when you long press on the home screen.
Most colors for anything framework related will be changed via XML edit in framework/values/styles it covers menus to buttons etc. You'll need apktool or equivalent and notepad + or equivalent (obviously have sdk and Java) basic compiling and dexompiling knowledge. There's several tutorials out there just takes practice and patients.
... I already know all of that. I know how to change the color of most system font just not the one that i really want changed.

<style name="TextAppearance.Large.Inverse" parent="@android:style/TextAppearance.Large">
This us what you want to edit.![]()
I'll try it. What about the text below the large text? Like the power off, airplane mode and silent mode text?
its got to be near that line then seeing how they both deal with the power menu
