Help Changing the Keyboard to a better one

Hey everyone,

I remember seeing somewhere in the x10 section a post regarding instructions to install a better keyboard on our x10's.
I am enjoying swype, but would also like to have a "regular" keyboard that works better than the preinstalled ones.

HTC, right? Can anyone direct me to the thread, or a site with instructions? Does the phone need to be rooted?

You can but I cant remember how now?

I just used the standard Android one as I hated the SE one, besides whats wrong with tapping the keys on the swype keyboard?
