Help Changing the message background while writing on samsung keyboard

Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the background field where I type messagges in my Ace? I mean, I have installed 'go sms pro', I can set the menu to black color, change fonts etc but when it comes to typing, this big window appears where I usually write in horizontal position on samsung keyboard, and whole window, except key buttons is white.

I was on the train at night yesterday, and when it comes to long time chatting where lots of writing is needed, my eyes go crazy, it's so bright.

any way to change that?

You need to extract the Mms.apk from the system/app folder.
Inside it there are folders with names like 'drawable', you should find the picture that you see currently in your message box and replace that with a picture of your choice.
The picture should be of same name, size and format. Then push the new Mms.apk back into system/app, set permissions to rw-r-r-.

The only thing difficult here it to find that particular pic

Its easy actually, The tough part is only to find that pic file.

But you don't want to do it yourself, look for people who are editing or creating their own Mms.apk. People love to mod their devices, you just gotta find them.
Most rom developers do this, ask them. or you can download a rom and extract the file from it.
