Changing the S3 theme to something a little lighter?

Not sure if this is even possible, and damn do I sound fussy, but I'm wondering if there is anyway to make the menus etc on my S3 a little lighter? I'm really not a big fan of white text on black/grey and the OS is absolutely full of it.

Just watching black/dark grey text on a white background would be perfect, but is this possible?

You'd have to change apps and launcher to change the parts like app drawer, sms app etc, but some places cannot be changed unless you change the OS installed to a different themed version.

Do remember though that you are using an AMOLED screen. More blacks is better for that type of screen extending its lifespan, as well as using a lot less battery. A predominantly black AMOLED uses 30-40% less battery than a predominantly white AMOLED.
