Changing the specs of phone

Hello how would I change the specs of my android phone? E.g Change the internal memory from 8gb to 16gb of course not literally, just changing the text so it says that is 16gb even though it isn't?

Is that possible?

What phone?
What carrier?
What text is it that you want to change?
Why do you want to change the text?

You could edit the model info in the Build.prop, though storage info is usually not listed here. The actual storage is read by the Os and you'd need a corrupted NAND chip or firmware to read it wrong.

In any case, since you're not actually getting any additional storage, the only use for this is to commit fraud during sale.

Unlocked to all as it's a clone
The Memory size, Ram size and screen resolution.
So it looks more like a note 3 I guess. I have seen some models of the same phone with 1080 * 1920 resolution which it doesn't have and was wondering how to change the specs .

Forgive me for not taking you at your word. There's a whole market on Ebay for selling these clones at inflated prices as the "real deal" on Ebay right now. We've had a few come to these forums after being the victim of such scams.

As mentioned before, there's probably not a simple value that could be modified (i.e., a system property setting) to allow one to easily fake the storage capacity.

I also can't think of a good reason for wanting to do this and the OP has been silent on providing a response to a query as to why (their prerogative, of course).

But the OP has also stated it's not for nefarious purposes so we're left with taking him/her at his/her word barring further information.
