Changing Thread Prefix

Thank you amigos.. it's beginning to pan out as Guide group only with the issue.. Sean the scary alien reports that he's returned to the OP rather than the thread list/forum.

I think this is due to the product I put in place to handle the guides groups rights. I'm not sure yet if I can fix it to work with VB default redirecting myself, if I can get support from the developer, or if I just need to remove it.

The product makes my job a lot easier on the back end, but I don't want to do that if makes your jobs a lot harder on the front end.

It's obviously your call on the change of the program that helps with the Guide rights, of course. The issue for Guides is a small one of annoyance. For you I'm sure the program you deployed is about things much weightier than that.

Maybe it can be tweaked at some point.

It is really only a minor annoyance for me. Certainly not making it a lot harder or a show stopper.

You're right, but nonetheless..it would be nice to have it fixed.

And yes, I tried it - and I was taking to the device thread list after pressing "save changes." I thought it was like this, so I never said anything.

You're right, Rush, and I agree.. but if it's a tradeoff between that annoyance and the Admin having a heavier load, we'll take the annoyance.

The fix might be too much coding .. the type of thing that ends up making the program less useful for the Admin.

We'll see..

Your right, I'd like it fixed too, but I wouldn't want Phases discontinuing a useful feature on his end for an inconvenience for us. It doesn't hinder what I do, I just have to find the post again to verify the change and post in it if I need to.
