Changing "tones"

Is there any way to assign my own songs/ringtones to alerts, like new voicemail, or new messages, etc?, also - can u use a voice recording from the voice memo as an "alarm" sound. My girlfriend has a fantastic voice, and as cheesy as this may be, I want to hear her "waking" me up when I am out of town. Bear with me...hopeless romantic!

Try Ringdroid or Mabilo ringtones for custom alerts/ringtones. I'm not sure about the voice recording...what format is it in?

umm...not sure. Just recorded it directly on the phone's voice memo. And I have ringroid, but am having some issue in finding the music on the "alert" sound choice area. Thanks for all of your help btw...
