Help Changing which panel is the home screen

Currently my HTC Desire C has the home screen as the middle screen. So:

|-| |-| |H| |-| |-|

I'd like to make the far left panel the home screen, such that when I click the home button it goes to that screen. So:

|H| |-| |-| |-| |-|

Is there a way I can do this?

I don't know what version of Android I've got, but the phone was brand new in May 2013 if this helps.

Some third-party launchers can do that, don't of any stock.

Welcome to Android Forums, Malevolentia!
I know that it is an easy task when you are using a third party launcher, but I do not know how to advise you on the HTC Desire.
If you are interested in a different launcher, there are several really nice launchers in the Google Playstore that you can install for little to no cost.
I am moving this thread into the Desire C forum in hopes of someone with that phone being able to help you with this request.

Just move everything two screens to the right, one by one. Should only take a few hours.
