Help charge cable

My old HTC Incredible cable wouldn't work. (didn't do anything) But the cable for my Galaxy Nexus phone works fine.
 
It requires a 2 amp 5 volt charger and most are under an amp so some will work but alot slower than the stock charger and if you have movie or screen on it will drain the battery faster than it can charge it. I found no 2 amp chargers locally but did on Amazon for about ten bucks shipped.
 
Cable - not much difference. But with the charger, there's a big difference. The OEM charger has a higher output than most cell phone chargers and will take significantly less time for it to reach a full charge.
 
HTC = 5v 1amp
ASUS = 5v 2amp

Ill just use the HTC cable, as its about 12" longer and alternate the chargers.
