charger size for Incredible vs eris

I have an eris and am switching to the incredible. Am I correct that the eris uses a mini USB and the Incredible uses a micro USB? More new stuff to buy....

Are all micro-USB chargers universal? I have (I believe) a micro for my EnV Touch... and it would save me some money if that was compatible with the Incredible.

It should work, as long as the charger output is enough for the requirements of the phone.

For example, my iPod Touch won't charge on a low output USB charger, but charges just fine on a 1000ma charger.

Thanks for the info. After comparing the EnV Touch vs Incredible AC Adapters, it appears the Env's has a 0.2 amp output while the Incredible's is 1 amp. Probably a good idea to stick with approved chargers.
