Chargers - Is it really this complicated?

Hi,
I'm looking to buy a wall charger for my Galaxy S2.
When I go on ebay, it seems they will have a listing for about 20 different phones for the same charger.

This one for example....
Samsung 1A House Wall Travel AC DC Adapter USB Data Sync Cord Charger Cable | eBay

At the end of the day, it's a 1 amp charger with a mini USB plug for the phone. Do I really need to be concerend with their list of phones that they say it fits? Mine isn't listed but I think it will work fine. Galaxy S2 D710

If it's 1 amp, and it works on ANY Galaxy, wouldn't that be enough ?

The GS2 uses micro USB, not mini. MicroUSB is a standard. One amp is more than you need, and will work. Your phone could charge off the USB port from a PC even. If you are worried about having your phone listed as compatible, remember that this phone is the same exact thing as the Epic 4G Touch. The charger in the link you posted, will work fine.

I buy official Samsung chargers..

Recently I bought assume travel chargers for wall,

"TRAVEL CHARGER"
AC/DC ADAPTER
MODEL: HD-C104<ic>
INPUT: AC. 110-240v-50/60HZ
OUTPUT: DC.5V=500MA

DON'T BUY THIS ONE.

it takes 1hr to charge 1%
As its plugged in, it locks up the phone while charging.

The charger says output is dc .5!

My Samsung official is 5.0

Big difference.
I tried up my old official one, till the new one from Amazon comes.
